There is enough space for seven other people to join you. Is there anyone else who will join you besides Hector, Meageler, Timon, and Atheon? I've already beat the game but I want to find out.
P.S. To those of you who are currently playing the game... GET THE SWORD OF HEROES!!!!!!!

Not that I know of. Of course, there are few that just join you for a short while.

Well, there are the four you mentioned, plus a Odemian Noblewoman who joins you for a short while, and a young boy who joins you later as part of a misson. Aside form those, there are no other people that join you, sorry

Yeah. I knew that. But if so, why make the extra spaces?

Perhaps to keep you guessing?
Seriously, the game is powered by the Delver engine, which I gather was originally intended to be a general-purpose RPG tool. With that in mind, it makes sense that there'd be as many character slots available as could be comfortably squeezed into the anticipated screen resolution, rather than a number dependent on the requirements of the Cythera game.

Whatever happened to the Delver engine?
