Igneus is not only a Pillar, he is also a songwriter, writing hit singles as " No matter how many times you say it, It's still my name"

I don't think that the wishing spring even works, tried everything I could think of and it still said "Your wish is found elsewhere".
The things it says after you don't get your wish are a little humorous.

Remembered my trick to defeating liches:
wait until they are in a doorway, then close the door. This sometimes neutralizes their magical abilities and they can only use physical attacks. Doesn't work all the time.

Igneas is the guy in the cave of the mage who improves weapons. He is in the first lava flow on the right, when you have your screen as large as possible. If you say Igneus, he says " no matter howw many times you say it, it's still my name", and provides some knowlage, like he is the south piller, seldane are the east, I think sylph are the west ( he doesn't wan't to talk about it). And, does anyone know about the magic potion thing?

The sylph are the north. The undine are the west. And Ignae's name doesn't have an s in it.

Doesn't an odd helmet make attacks like that useless? I have a distant memory from my playing days. http://www.macclassi...era/cythera.htm was really useful for stuff like this.

Always a pleasure to see a fellow kiwi on the boards, Ben! Posted Image

Yes, you're right, the odd helms give some protection against magical attacks - but not total, as I recall.

You sicko.... Cats are way better then dogs! I haven't seen ONE dog yet that will cuddle up with you when you're sad / depressed. And at least cats can be litter trained. Cats won't wake you up in the middle of the night by slobbering on your face, but they will occasionally do something to wake you up, and that's purr in your ear. I personally don't enjoy dog slobber.

Uh, Cats >< Topic Posted Image

Still, I figure it this way:
A puppy is better than a kitten - although both are cute, a puppy is simply more interesting.
A cat is cuter than a dog - a puppy's cuteness peters out in the first year or so of it's life. Cats are always cute.

On the other hand, dogs are much better for teaching tricks too - but then again, cat's willl use a litterbox. Of course, cat droppings smell worse than dog doo...

The debate goes on and on, with no clear answer.
Perhaps Cats = Dogs

The odd helmets don't work as well as advertised. Still got killed by harpies and liches because I was frightened/confused/paralized. Did anyone figure out the wishing spring yet?

Both animals have been used as a food source by one culture or another in the last hundred years. Between cat and dog, I'd have to go with dog as most likely to taste good. On the other hand, those kitties would be good on a sandwhich Posted Image

Nah, I don't normaly eat much animal flesh. Just a bite of cow, or turkey/chicken.
Tofu is very good on a sandwhich, when it is fryed in soy sauce. Yum!
