Imprisoned creature

I'm sure this was asked a while ago, and it's been a while since I played the game but I wandered onto this board. So anyways, I was wondering why I shouldn't release that circular, bright colored creature (air creature?) that is in the middle of the lake. It says not to, but I do anyways and nothing special happens. Anyone know anything else about this creature?

That is UrSylph, the air elemental. He was imprisoned long ago by the other elemental forces, because he was far too dangerous. During his years, millenia perhaps, of imprisonment, he has quit caring about anything. That includes being released. You can find out more about him by asking him or any of the other elements.
