I just started playing Cythera...

It's great! Challenging! It sort of reminds me of the very old Taskmaker games, but it has much better graphics, of course. The controls are odd, but I'll work them out.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to this low-traffic board...

I have some questions now:
My player is continually hungry now for some reason... Whenever I eat something, I still remain hungry. Why is this? A little fork and knife appeared on my little personal screen for my player when this started.
Why do all the ruffians look the same? They don't look very mean.
Should I register? Please give me ots of good reasons.
Thank you, all!

Hmm, that's a strange one; could you describe exactly what you do to have your character eat something?

I go to my inventory, hold the "U" button while clicking on some food, then when the white box at the bottom of the screen says "Feed food to who?" (or something similar) I click on my player. This always worked, before I had the little fork and knife appear.

Yes, that sounds about right. I usually just go by the portrait though; if the grey background disappears, then the character's no longer hungry. If the knife & fork remain, it's probably just a window update bug.
Hmmm... I'll look at that. Thanks.
I'd also like to say that Slayer's Guide to Cythera is very helful when I'm stuck. Thanks, Slayer!

Even us experienced story posters get nervous sometimes; I don't think I've been more nervous about a story than when I was waiting for my chronicle 'No Regrets' to be released!
If you're worried that we might not like your submissions, why not pick out one of the others here, and email them your ideas? I'm sure they'd be glad to help out, until you build up your confidence! As long as you don't take any comments too personally, you'll do fine!

Yes, but i'm just nervous about it.
You shouldn't really be. Just act casual. Read the posts before, so you'll know what's going on. Get an idea of what you'd post. That worked for me when I started posting. And, after you get your character started in a story, post the Character Info.

Ahem... Good Advice, but should you be giving it?

You shouldn't blame IdiotSavant without proof.
Furthermore, what's the big deal? The post has a smiley,
is I understand it that means somthing isn't ment to be rude - not that it was, anyway.

Lets just forget this.
Now, Luke:
Antidote potions are found at Land-King Hall (In the room where you start the game), and the alchemy lab in Pynx. The less potent ungent can be found in many places around Cythera.

I've got the one in Land-King Hall. I have some ungent. Will taking the antidote in Pynx count as stealing?

That was not me! If it had been, I would have done it under my user name. Unlike some, I'm no wimp. ferazel, stop stop accusing random people. Your making a bad thing worse.
Also, could a mod check Obsidian's IP?

Who cares who I am?
Nothing I've said has been rude.
However, some of the things that have been said by others have been.
I didn't wan't to start anything.
Ferazel and I have talked, and I said I was sorry - there is nothing more to be said.
Yes, Ferazel was wrong to say IdiotSavant was behind this.
But it's worse to keep this whole thing going.
I request a topic lock before this becomes a verbal battle.
Thank you,
Obsidian.
And, if need be, I'll say it in public:
Ferazel, I'm sorry for what I said, however it seemed to be the case before you explained the situation to me. As you know, unregistered users can not edit their posts, otherwise I would. Sorry.
