Wondered about that one? It was said in refrence to Lord Byron, an english poet - but we know it as the .sig of Glenn Andreas.
"Rommel Reincarnated"
"Desert Fox" was a nickname given to a certain military personage by the name of Rommel.
"Kobayashi Maru"*
A relitivly obscure Star trek refrence - it was the name of a freighter in a computer simulation at Starfleet academy. It was intened to be unbeatable. It's cache22's sig, which ties in with his name:
"cache-22"
From Catch-22, a novel. the name is now used to denote a paradox in which two choices have the same unhappy effect - tying in nicely with "Kobayashi Maru", which operates on a similar concept.
"Ec, y'r Bmiih"
Well, I wasn't going to tell, but I acedently posted as Velcarn yesterday, so here it is:
Ec, y'r Bmiih is an simple encypherment of "Hi, I'm Bryce"
Well, that pretty much wraps up my Sig Studies, what do you think?

No correction necessary 'Catch 22' and 'Kobayashi Maru' both signify a 'no-win scenario'.

This has turned into a spam topic. Not thats bad for the cythera webboards.
I don't know... It wasn't about Star-Trek, so it is off topic, but I wouldn't say spam...

So, forge, what brings you here? It's nice to see someone from the EVN board visting us...
Actually, I'm more from the B&B than anywhere else. You probably just noticed me on the Nova forum during an excursion. I actually rummage through several forums instead of sticking to just one or two.
Oh well, just puttering around here the past few days it seems...
