Mr. Savant,

Yes, I am aware of the Macgamer site, however, his directions are to "use" the crystal and click on the force wall, this does not work. It gives me the same message that I always get which is it glows then fizzles out.

As for the music notes, I also read that on several posts, but I wanted to know where the hint came from in the game. Is it from the bard Demoducius? I can't seem to locate him now that he has left his old spot on the bridge.

No, you don't get the code from Demoducius. I think you get it in a book, possibly in LandKing hall. As for the crystal, you need both pieces for the force wall. If you do have both pieces,put them together and use them on the corners first.
