This week, Cache22 brings us part three of book one of "The Ronin Saga." If I'm not mistaken, this is the final part of book one. Like the others, this chapter is very good. In it, the tale of how the seven Ronin came to Cythera unfolds. This ties in strongly with recent events in the team stories(well, not so recent anymore, I suppose), so I highly recommend reading it for that reason, as well. You can, and indeed should, read it here.

Here's the usual reminder to everyone: Submit more chronicles! We are running very low, after all. There's nothing left in the queue!

Okay, I submitted one do to the sudden need. Tell me if it needs to be longer (I ran out of time today).

Sorry, cache22, I haven't had a chance to read yours yet. Posted Image

That's OK Theo, take your time and enjoy it Posted Image

If any of you do read the Chronicles, could you take a moment or two to comment? Us writer types have fragile egos, after all Posted Image Seriously, it's discouraging if no-one comments, even if it's just to say you don't like it!

Everybody, please take pity on poor old Slayer, and submit some Chronicles (Roooogaaaan, give us part 3, pleeeeeaaaaase! And Magpie, if you've got any more coming, I'm looking forward to those, too!) 'Transition' was indeed the last part of book 1, and I won't have any more coming for a while - not that I've stopped writing, mind Posted Image

I have another Chronicle written, and I'm collaborating on another, but neither of those can be released until the current storylines catch up (possibly several weeks!); when the collaboration is done, I'll hopefully be able to start thinking about book 2. The first one is quite different, and may not be to everyone's liking; but it lays a foundation for the collaborative one, and later stories.

I have a team story idea I'm building up to as well, and those chronicles can't come out until it's done; so please, everybody hang around the tavern for a bit, and don't start anything - 'Requiem' is coming!

You really don't need to rush. There's still another week before we need a new chronicle. It did seem a little short, but not too bad. Also, it would be better if the title didn't contain a split infinitive(i.e. to (whatever) (verb)).

Okay, Slayer, could you scrap that? I realize now that it was competely unfinished, and that a madness of haste must have been on me. Sorry for wasting your time Posted Image

Okay, I've sent it, let me know if it doesn't make sense...But what was wrong with the Title? Oh, well. I've come up with how I'm thining its all going to end, so I have a new one.

"To Die" is an infinitive. It is grammatically incorrect to insert anything between the two words, so "To Never Die" is grammatically incorrect. Although split infinitives are used in some pretty high profile places(i.e. "To boldly go"), it is still better to avoid them. Your new submission seems to just fine, though.
