I've lost Aethon. ... bug?

I told him to wait ....
saved the game while he was still 'waiting' (as my powerbook's battery was dead) and when I restarted he was no longer where I left him waiting.

I've tried his place in Cademia and there is no sign .....

Any help!!!

I think he's probably gone for good. Why did you tell him to wait?

Because I was going off Killing Scylla's and I didn't want him to get hurt. I stupidly forgot about setting his strategy to defend ....

anyway ... I've joined the guild already and learnt missile - do I need him for anything else?

another point slayer ...

I've twice learnt lockpicking (and I'M A ROGUE TOO) yet it keeps seeming to disappear. make any sense.

I've had problems with party members wandering off when I told them to wait as well. I wanted to look down in the sewers without them, so I had them all wait upstairs. I came back, and they were all GONE. I panicked because I had saved while I was in the sewer. I did find them again, but they were all over Cademia...and in some very remote places. Took me an hour to search every building. So my advice would be to look everywhere in the town or area you left them in. But if you don't find him, I don't think he's necessary to finish the game now that you're in the guild.

Um, check out Slayer's website. It can answer this question, and many, many more! You'll find a link to it in Slayer's sig.

OK, fair enough if you have a legitimate question, but could you otherwise PLEASE refrain from resurrecting long-dead topics? Thanks.

I don't want to have to smack you Harpy. People who posted more than a year ago probably don't care about the answer anymore.
