I don't know gow to get this thing! Slayer's guide tells me to talk to Prusa a lot, and I did that, but all that happened was that she gave me the book (actually, I don't really even remember if she gave me the book, but she must have because I repeated the steps in the guide a LOT, like it told me to).

Get the panpipes from Philinus by asking him about pipes. Now go to a statue in the east part of Kosha and play the notes PHJMD. This will open a passage downwards. Once underground, Magpie will ask you for the crolna. Do not give it to him.
