I dug into the tomb near the sundial. There was a tunnel. We went down it, but we were halted by a strong door. It's not mage locked, but it resists bombs. How can I get into the tomb?

Hmmm... you have one of two options:

1) Use the spell "Remote Manipulation" on the lever on the other side of the portcullis.

2) Cheat, and use the spell fetch on the door, which should disintegrate it.

There are other hard doors in the TT, so my appologies if you already got past this one.

I suggest you get Remote Manipulation, because you will need it again.... Posted Image

Where else? I only remember using it that once.

No, I didn't need it there. You've just got to pull the levers in the right order.

Guess I'm wrong. But you will need it later in the Tyrants tomb. Or am I wrong again?

No, I don't think I needed it there again, either.

I liked the puzzle with the golem. The golem itself was wimpy, but i'm happy to say that I solved the lever puzzel with no help other than a hint to use the automap. Pulling the levers in the right order works fine. By the way, I think the quarters are for a certain golem slayer, to which the fur cape belonged. The whole golem-slayer thing came from a book or scroll. I think it was in the Phynx library. If you can give a non-magical solution to the tomb, I'd be thrilled.

For the tomb, I think the only magic you need is that one instance of Remote Manipulation - as long as you have a good supply of torches, or something magical that glows. Have you discovered Aethon's ability to disarm traps, yet? It's absolutely vital to use it if you want your party to survive; I lost Timon, two attempts in a row, before I discovered that (stupid AI!).

The East part of the tomb is a maze, with various levers to pull to open secret doors, etc. It's just another case of trial and error, like the dungeon under Cademia that you just solved, only harder.

While we're talking about the tyrant's tomb, where is it? I have
tried digging around sundials, and it didn't work.

From my website:

First, get a shovel. Shovels can be found in the iron mine, or purchased from the ratcatchers guild. Go to the castle in Cademia. In the northeast
corner, there is a sundial. It is behind locked door. Use the shovel to dig two spaces north of the sundial. Go down the hole.

Once inside the tomb, watch out for spike traps. It helps to have awareness. Melager can teach it to you, just talk to him and eventualy he will train you. Awareness let's you tell the time, too. You probobly know, but you can diffuse a spike trap by examining it's square, then attacking it.
