Hi there all. I am relatively new at the game, only having played a few days, and I'm having some problems panning things out. For instance, the iron mine mission. I've been to the mine, i've talked to the scared miner, I've seen the blue guy, Timon tells me what it is, I tell the Attis chick... she says continue to investigate. Great, now what? Nothing changes when I go back to the mine. I got so frustrated I caved(no pun intended) and consulted Slayer's site (which, incidently, is very nice and in-depth, though I'm trying not to depend). Unfortunatly, thats the one mission with little help, D'oh! Oh well, sorry to complain, I am just enjoying the game thus far, and hate to miss something I'm sure is obvious. Thanx.

You have to talk to the blue guy; but in order to do that you need to know his language, and you need to talk to someone else for that. Want to know who?

You need to find the Seldane, and talk to Sabinate. I think after that, you'll have no trouble.

Thank you.
Should I assume that I will come across them in the course of another mission, or should I seek them out. And if so, where?
Also, on an unrelated note, what is the largest capacity container in the game? I need a place to store some of my money. (wish I had this problem in real life) Even with the trick to carry more than I'm supposed to, its still to much.

Um, I don't think there's a mission, no. It's one of the 'side-puzzles' that you need to solve in order to complete the game; but yes, you should seek them out. I think 'where' is buried in the middle of another mission solution on Slayer's Guide; so do you still want to know, or will you look it up?
The best advice I can give is to try everything; use everything on everything else, talk to everyone you meet, try any likely spells. Oh, and save frequently; there are some ways you can really mess up!

I would've thought you'd find container capacites on Slayer's Guide; personally, I didn't worry too much about the money; you don't need a lot to finish the game.

Well, the chest holds 255 grains, or what looks like xx/25 in the character status where xx is any number. If you have someone in your party, I used Meleger, put a chest in his inventory, but nothing else. When you get any money, put it in the chest. When it gets in the 220's, or 230's, put the money from the chest in to the inventory of the character. You can get them 'overstuffed', or something like 239/28 in the character stats. I'll post a picture in a minute.

I guess a chest works well, but if you want Meleager to be able to carry other stuff, I'd use a coffer. It holds a hundred grains. The sack is useful as well at 80. I would find the pouch/bag (whatever it's called) useful if I could find more; although it holds only 40 grains, it counts toward your equip (since it hangs on your belt), not your inventory.

I suppose this is really in reply to my own question, but I hope it may help someone. In my tinkering since my original post, I've found that the best place to use as a "bank" for storage of all those things you may need later, but don't want to carry, such as $$$, is House Comana in Cademia. The lower left hand room is filled with 12 crates, offering more than enough storage, without the items wandering off. I know the obvious choice are the dressers and desks of Landking hall, but the images are so small, that items become "stacked" on each other before running out of room. I guess that's all...
