(I'm guessing that Ferazel's very uh.. undetailed post is now ignored... at least I will...)
Talos looked at the piece of tied brushwood he had put to replace the fallen wooden lateral support. The extra weight of the snow was not doing the support, or any supports any good. In fact, he was looking straight at it when it broke in half and fell. Fortunately, it wasn't actually carrying any weight, as the moron who retiled the area above put on too few layers. Therefore, the roof there held, but a huge piece of brushwood fell on top of Talos's face, namely on his eye. "AAAAAAH! It burns!! It burns!!!" Talos screamed.
Unfortunately, the other lateral supports were not faring well under the snow, and people, looking up, noticed that the odd cracking noises were not, as they had thought, coming from the floor. Also, they did not notice Talos, who was now running wildly around the tavern, unable to see, but no longer making much in the way of vocal noise. He ran into the "high table" that Tycho was on, spilling him out of the window onto the quickly-accumulating snow. The snow melted under Tycho, and the liquid water resulting was absorbed by Tycho: he soon began to grow, and he caught on, carefully emersing all of his body in the snow to get it all back to normal size. Unfortunately, his right ring-finger, whose magical ring had shrunk with him but did not get bigger with water, quickly popped as the finger grew.
In the bar, it was all mayhem. Besides Talos running into and knocking over tables, the roof supports were splintering and some of the triangular braces had popped. The cheaply applied tiles slid off under the weight, clearing snow in some places, although it quickly came back and weighted the next layer. To make things worse, snow was coming in at all angles through the opening in the roof, and melting on the floor. Normal, unharmed people besides Talos and a few drunkards were slipping on the floor and knocking things over. Then with a huge "Crrrrr-cra-THUMP" it was all over. The roof supports simultaneously split, no longer aided by the triangular braces. The roof collapsed inwards, although most of the weight was of snow, since almost all the tiles had slid off.
