Most people probably know this but Aethon owes Parium AND Crito money, but more money to Parium. What is the point in having three names, Aethon, Podargus and Balius? Why does Aethon say that he has done business with all the houses apart from Comana before, yet the Elders don't recognise him or his name?

My guess is that the three names are just aliases and he was lying about the elders knowing him to get you to let him join (or whatever).

It could be that the elders don't recognize his name because he used a different name when dealing with them.

He probably used yet another alias. What it was, we can only guess. I'm thinking that these things weren't coded into the game.

Such details are actually important (more or less) to make a good game. Or maybe Glenn left such details out of the game so we could use the web boards to ask these questions and use our little human brains to figure out the propable answer, like Slayer did in his post...
