For those of you who are ResEdit users, has anyone checked out the STR#s for Cythera Data? The file with the names for places includes a lot of places i have never been. There's a Tree of Life listed. one of the more interesting things is Inner Brotherhood Hall and Inner Brotherhood Dungeon. Either I've overlooked something in the game, these are hangovers for stuff that was going to be put in, or There are goodies that none of uus have discovered. This deserves some more investigation.

No, actually it doesn't. The scylla temple has no dungeon and once you decipher the clues left it becomes obvious that they are not the same place. The note said that the Outer Brotherhood was falling. The warrior with the Sword of Heroes was sent by the Tyrant to bring down the temple, so it is obviously the one that fell. Furthermore the Scylla temple looks like an initiation ground because of the texts in the library and its general layout, which makes it unlikely it is the Inner Brotherhood because "Inner" connotates the seat of power, not a bunch of trainees. I would guess that the Inner Brotherhood was either in Abydos (has anyone thoroughly checked out the other trapdoor passage there?) or it is in the first Undine stronghold, after all how many of us stuck around there to investigate with lichs and demons chasing us?

Seat of power...
More likely the second stronghold than the first one.
Besides, it works better geographically.
If they're trying to fend off the Undine, wouldn't the outter be closer to the water than the inner?
