Anybody can write. The team stories are there as an alternative to writing in the chronicles and as a way to have fun with other people and their ideas.

Like Avatara said, it's okay for anyone to post to the chronicles. Also, it's a good way to boost your status and respect... Slayer gives you a tasty one karma point per story (of course, he screens 'em, so you have to submit something good.) :¬)

Good is...well, go to the chronicles area and have a look! The storys written by Heidel are extremly good.
If you posted a EV/O chronicle, it could take a long time before you get it submitted. Last thing I heard, they got a huge backlog.

Currently, if you submit a story now it'll be up in a week or two.
On EV/O it'll take at least a month.
See how great this board is? Slayer is good at handling the chronicles at a speedy pace to prevent terrible backlog!
