Welcome to the web boards
I think we know about this already, if it's in the room with the ruffian on the bed and the chests are booby-trapped.
Read the "How to dupe ALL items in yuor inventory at once" topic to get a better way to duplicate money, items and weapons.
(wohoo, just registered EVO!)

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room.

Just save often. If you trip a spike trap, just load and walk towards it. Stop one tile from the spikes and examine the area. The spikes should become vivible and then you can desroy or take them. Curiously, taking spikes is concidered stealing.

I think taking spikes off the ground is a little strange don't you think? Anyway, I don't think it damages enemies when they step on the spikes, I might be wrong.

Well, if you do put them down for an enemy you don't know if it'll hurt thm because you don't know their health.
Another point is you can't deactivate the spikes anymore after you take them and then put them somewhere else. And then they just disappear cos' they were moved.
Are there any other "Traps" apart from spikes?

In the storage room next to Halos' house, there are poison traps in every crate. If you destroy the crate, take out every item one-by-one, you can attack the poison trap by attacking it. (You have to "look" at the destroyed crate to see it first.)
