Ambrosia Software Web Board: Three cool things! - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Previously un-mentioned on the boards, I'm sure:

Number one: The strange staffs you find on the skeleton in the mushroom room in Cademia and on the body with the timeflux book gives off light when held. Just equip one of your party members with one of them, and you'll get a ring of light around your character, stronger than both the Sword of Heroes and a torch!

Number two: When you enter Cademia, go inside the southern ex-guard room. Now, go out and straight for the closest building. If you keep your right side next to the wall when walking, you'll hear a sound similar to that one of a healing spell. A bug? I think so.

Number three: When entering the Scylla temple, take the first possible way up (north). You'll find a skeleton. Search it, and you'll find a pouch containing 58 oboloi.

Discovered all of this today. Have fun with it!

Actually:

1) I remember this being talked about sometime in April 2000. (I wasn't regested until later, but I read the boards back then)

2) Cythera sound doesn't work on my computer, so I can't confirm this.

3) I'm pretty sure that the board already knew this, but if not, *I* did about a month after I started playing the game (which was right after it came out).

Did you know that in the secret chamber under cadmia (guarded by the golem) there's a ring hidden in the bed? I think it gives the character protection from hits...

Yeah, I knew about #2. At first I thought it was some psycho mage about to medi-evil on my butt, but then after looking around I realised it was just a bug.
