I've found some useless spells in Cythera, like for example -Detect Rune- and some others. I'm trying to put a list together of all the spells that don't work right or don't work at all, here's the one's I know already.
  • Detect Rune - doesn't work at all
  • Fire Ball - doesn't kill when fired on top of the enemy, nor does it kill demons
  • Tremor - doesn't do damage
  • Terrorisation - the enemy still attacks
  • Acertainment - detects lies, but I've never seen it work
I'm trying to find all the spells that don't work at all or don't work like they should Posted Image

Rune of Warding - what's the point?

Fetch - doesn't work correctly

>Fire Ball - doesn't kill when fired on top of the enemy, nor does it kill demons
Fire Ball doesn't automaticly kill things, but is does hurt demons: try casting it three or four times. Not sure about the "on top" idea.

>Terrorisation - the enemy still attacks
All spells like this (can't remeber the names of them all), that target enimies minds, don't work when cast on people that you can't talk to (like most ruffians and animals).

Another, though, is the spell that lets you talk to sleeping people. You talk to them, but you can't see the words.

It's these "broken spells" that lead me to believe that perhaps Cythera was planned to be something more than it was...

All games are meant to be more. They are all meant to have a sequal. Therefore when it doesn't have one, some things are left unanswered. Maybe a sequal will come soon and solve your problems.

It's awaken, and I've only had to use it on a couple of seldane that I was trying to get the sapphire book from.

I think the problem with the words isn't a feature (meant to make your life hard Posted Image) but a bug. But so long as you know what they would say, it usually isn't a problem.
