If I remember it correctly, you have to use the Crolna on the barrier there, but I'm not totally sure. I hope this helps!

Use the Crolna on standing stone, dig a hole on the island, cross the lava, open the door, talk to UrSylph, use the Crolna on the force wall and ta-da!

Don't forget, you need to have two fused crolna pieces to break force-walls.

The Ursylph is a pretty stupid thing. I blew up the whole force wall but it still runs to the right and to the left in it's prison. And when I asks it why it doesn't escapes and perhaps kill some bad guys, (perhaps not excatly like that) it says it doesn't care about the world. Stupid UrSylph. It isn't worth talking to.

I don't think the Cythera engine was designed to have NPCs destroy Cythera in a linear way.

Talking to UrSlyph:
Necessary? No.
Useful? Yes.
The information on the elements he provides is very in-depth. Besides, if you meet him yourself, you might be able to say that you are one of the few people to meet all four elements without Slayer's site's help.

If you want to beat the game, go through get the stuff and the other stuff and talk to the guy. If you want to master the game, talk to UrSlyph.
