Help
In general, how does one know which equipment is better than something we find?
IE. Is a metal breastplate better than a couriass? etc etc.

In general? Test it out! If you get hit lightly, it's not that good
if you never get hit less than a bonecrushing sound, exelent!
Of course you can always check slayers site for the full stats.

I never knew the 'Ask About' feature on joined characters was worth anything. They'd usally say things I already knew, like "I believe that is a rock". You should have that on your site.
