I cadmia in the sewers there is a chasm where u can tie a rope to and go down. Whne u go down the moss confuses you at first but then stops. Also down there is a foutian. What is this place for and what does it do?

When I went down there the moss didn't cast cofuse on me.The fountain will cure you of poison and regenerate your health.(It will not regenerate your health all at the same time though.)
