Ambrosia Software Web Board: Spoilers! (I hope) Omen's test question - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Sorry if this has been asked a zillion times, but I've looked through several pages of posts and can't find the answer and I can't find it in the hint book either.

In Omen's test, after you get to the teleporter maze where you end up in a little room with a lever on the floor, then what are you supposed to do? I pulled the lever, and nothing seemed to happen. What is the point of the teleporter? You just seem to go between the maze and the little room and back--nothing more.
Also, what is the ring good for?

Omens test is really meant to be just that: a test.
Once you have the ring there's really nothing left to do down there exept get out.
The ring triples your healing rate, allowing you to live while poisoned (as the faster healing rate out "runs" the poison.)

In the teleporter maze, one pull of the switch will open they way out. You just need to wander aimlessly until you teleport to the location of the exit.

The ring you find makes your health regenerate faster - it's really useful, and can be even more helpful if you hand it to a hurt person in your group.
