I use the sword of heros but I think you could use spells.I'm not sure about plain weapons.

Everything works. Sword of heroes and the power gauntlets are best, but if you are afraid of the lich`s spells, use bow and arrows. An odd helmet protects against magic as well.

Death strike is my preferred weapon against liches and demons, because one hit of it kills them. Also, it only takes up 15 mana points, unless you replicate the Death Strike scroll, then it takes none.

I don't look at the names of the things I attack, so you will have to forgive me, but are liches those white things? and if they are I use a fire ball, but only if there is 4 or more.

Lichs are skeletons with some kind of pinkish shirt.
They are very, very, very angry and if you get close enough, they cast spells on you.

I think they are most easily reconizable by the stars they wear on their clothing. Also, does the mystic helmet protect againts magical attacks too? Or am I just lucky?

Just lucky. The mystic helmet is the best defence against attacks, but it doesn`t protect against magic.

This is totally off the subject,but I know this one editor that can edit i think every game ambrosia makes + more!!! Its called ACE! 1.0.3 and you can download it at Cnet.com-downloads-mac-games-tools&editors
