How do you light the torches? Also what does wield mean?

I think you just wear the torch. I can't remember. I havn't played for a while. Wield means to wear.

I'm a little rusty but...

I think you click and hold on the torch, to bring up the menu. Then select "use". Voila! The torch is lit (though you may have to be using it to be able to light it).

Just drop the torch into the character screen, in one of the "ready" slots.

According to the American Heritage Dictionary:

wield tr. v.
To handle (a weapon, for example).

Put the torch in one of the ready positions and double click on it.

Wield does not mean, "to wear". To wield an item is to hold it. Enough of a grammar lesson already.
