Dag, you stay away for 6 months and they delete you like so much bulk mail.....
I started playing again after a long break and I'm still stuck on the same questions...
1. How in the world does one get into that room with the axe rug, the dead guy, the three brooms, and the blue crystal ball in the Great Hall!?! (it outlines the secret passage).
2. After lighting the braziers in the correct order, you get some silly response...is it useful, or is it just another wine contract?
3. The fighter in the ruffian camp, does he talk? If I hit him, Hector goes balistic, so I thinkin' he's somewhat of an innocent (with lots of kesh around him, in the middle of a camp with scores of dead ruffians, with a note from Mr. Meanie....etc, etc, ad nauseum)
Will I just have to look and not touch (like fishing and finishing some of the quests), or is there someone out there who can help me )

1. Simple: Blow up the door with a bomb, cast fetch or remove mage lock on the door.
2. I don`t know cos I never lit the braziers.
3. He doesn`t talk. Always wondered about that.
They delete your membership after six months? Maybe this explains why we had 2800 members last week and only some 1750 now. *sigh*
welcome back

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the War Room.

Rogan, I think that I didn't phrase my question well (sorry)...I'm wondering how to get into the room outside of the secret passage. if you go in the secret passage near the dead spy (a little to the left of the spy actually), face down (south I'm guessing) and cast a farsight spell, you'll see 3 brooms, a small rug, and a corpse beyond the wall. Also, there's a blue crystal ball, but that's near the top (North-west) of the secret passage.
If you go into the astral room (north of the braziers) and if there was some way to extend that little (balcony?) to the left, you'd be able to get into the area where all this stuff is, but I have no clue on how to do that. If you were talking about the door to Alaric's study, that was never a problem, however, if you're talking about some door I've yet to discover, please let me know )

I know what you're talking about. I manually investigated every single piece of wall there, and none were secret doors.

You're right. I'll bet andrew doesn't know. Gandreas (the person who made it) probably does though...

Oh Great and wonderful Gandreas, we beseech thee, tell us who croaked Lester...uh...um, I mean....tell us how to enter the outer chamber of the Great Hall.
Amen.
