Ambrosia Software Web Board: investigate iron mine - Ambrosia Software Web Board

I'm still having troubles with the mission "Investigate Iron Mine". I went to Slayer's site, but he can't remember how to finish the mission. He has: Talk to Matron Thuria, go to the Two-Tailed Rat Inn and ask Atymnius about "story", talk to Amphidamus at the iron mine, do something else, talk to Thuria again. what is the "something else" that I have to do? I've gone into the mine with the seldane, but it still doesn't work. Somebody help me!

I think it is a small lead on how to finish the game and nothing else. Glenn Andreas and Andrew Welch should know the answer.

go to his site again are you so lazy to already be in netscape(or whatever you use) and just go to slayers site. Cmon it takes like 3 sec just go there and stop asking

Pyro, as I've stated before, I've already been to Slayer's site, and it doesn't specify what the "something else" is before "talk to Thuria again.

Hehe, Netscape sucks, but IE 5 is buggy.....I use IE5 though. I think that too finish the Iron Mine mission, you have to do the "Honor Jinrai" mission (not sure about that name), then go talk to the seldane in the caves again, then go talk to Matron Thuria.

Well, since none of you posters are helping, I will. It is very helpful if you have the spell Fetch. First you have to complete the mission, "Cure Plague in Catamarca". Then, go to the standing stone that is north of the bridge leading to Cademia. Use the crolna on the stone. A cave entrance will appear. Go in and wander around until you reach the underground city. This is where Fetch comes in handy.Get into the structure, walk down the center to the door. Cast Fetch on the door and go in. There should be a seldane in there. Talk to him and he will teach you the language. After that, go to the mines and enter them. Wander around. You will eventually find a room filled with boulders and rubble. Go down the hole and talk to the seldane. He will tell you to honor Jinrai. Go back up and find Matron Thuria. Talk to her. That's how you finish the mission, I think. Oh, yeah. To break the force feild around the hole, you can use the crolna (I'm not sure if that way works) or just cast Fetch on it a few times.

If you have the first shard of the crolna, get the second from Timon, the mage in the ruins above Pynx. You need to meld them together (use one on the other) before you can break force feilds.
