Problems

I have several problems that i have been unable to resolve. I have two 68LC040 computers at home, and noither of them will run Cythera satisfactorily. On one of them, an LC 580 with System 8.1 and 24MB of RAM, will not even let me enter the character. The other one, a PowerBoomk 520c with system 7.6.1 and 12MB of RAM with RAM doubler, will run, but will not let me learn certain spells or sleep without locking up; it also will just lock up periodically for no real reason. Can somebody PLEASE help me here. I am looking for technical answers here.

Simple: the MacOS, combined with Cythera, will make your RAM insufficient for stable playing. Using virtual memory might be a good idea, although it might make the game even less stable.
Oh, and if you ever want to get rid of your PowerBook 520c, I'll take it...

I have an app for quitting the Finder and launching a program of your choice....it was designed for Q3, but I assume it would work for Cythera....would you like it?

And so the problem remained; lots of people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches. Many were increasingly of the opinion that they had all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that the trees had been a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans. - Douglass Adams

I'd like to have it. Hovever, if it is "Greg's Browser" or "Substitute", I already have them. Otherwise, send away.
Why would I want to get rid of my powerbook? I am going to give it a screen upgrade (to a 540c standard), a HD upgrade, a G3 upgrade (Newer Tech, PLEASE put one out) and a PCMCIA card cage.
If you want one badly (as I did) you can get one from this guy in California for $130 where I got mine.

Oh btw, it runs fine on my sister's LC 580. The only real difference I can find is she has Quicktime 4 and a lot more RAM, although it isn't allocated to the program.

Talos, you don't have a laptop? I have an eMate, two iBooks, and a G3 laptop. My computer that I'm using is a Tangerine iMac DV. Want anything?
