No, not the spell. I just have many confusing problems

1. What, exactly, is the replicate spell good for? all I have been able to replicate is dice.
2. What is the fountain under Pnyx good for? You know, the one by the strange device and the green crystal ball and the gauntlets? It asks you what your wish is, but it doesn't do anything.
3. Is Magpie good? Is Magpie evil? I solved the murder in Cademia, so I went back to Kosha to see "Pelagon" to see what he had to say about it, couldn't find him, went underneath Kosha, and he killed me. However, when I first saw him, he was in the shape of Magpie. Can anyone offer some insight on this? No solutions, just insight.
4. Just popped in my head; who is Omen's master; the shapeshifter perhaps?

1. To replicate things, you need to have a crate. Put the thing you wish to replicate in the crate. Smash the crate. This will make the item "stick". Cast replicate. Take the item. Cast replicate as many times as you wish at the item currently on the ground.
This also works if you want to drop things and make them stay where they are. Just move the crate to the desired location, put the item inside it and smash it. The item will stay there as long as you don`t move it.
Hint: To regain full mana, talk to Alaric and tell him "help".
2. I think it`s just a comic relief. Talk to the fountain. Name your wish (which it won`t grant) then continue talking to it. It`ll keep saying funny things.
3. Magpie is good. To avoid getting killed below Kosha, you need to have three crolna shards in YOUR CHARACTER`S MAIN INVENTORY. You also need to have two of the shards merged together.
4. You will find out in the end of the game. (Hint: It has something to do with Charax).

Hint: Don`t trust Omen. He`s helpful but everyone has their own motives.

This applies to Omen, Magpie, all the Seldane, urSlyph, Tavara, the Mages, even Alaric - basically everybody that has any interests in the actions of the hero/heroine. There is no "good" or "evil" there.

Where is Tavara by the way? I have heard people talk about him on the boards, and the UrSlyph talks about him being in the fortresses.

Tavara is the dead mage who destroyed Abydos. He used some kinda magic and transformed into a lich. He is located in the second stronghold (behind LandKing Hall).
