Is it okay if my character uses some ddifferent equipment and spells than Cythera uses. I mean, for example, my sword (named Azurewrath) is not a Sword of Heroes (already, I can see many people have those) but is instead an enchanted one-handed sword. It is enchanted with fire, to add more damage than a regular falchion would, and also with something to increase accuracy. The spells I'm thinking of are mostly elemental (since once again, the Cythera spells will be overused) like fire, ice, electricity.
Oh, and if you think my character is too powerful, its not. I have a big weakness.

Either way, someone should start a topic where we describe our characters. Oh, and for the story, add in a couple suprises and twists. Also, blur the lines of good and evil a bit (like maybe a great hero for the good has had some evil dealings or goes on a mad slaugtering rampage)

Hmmm... Might as well describe them here. Plot twists are going to come, so don't worry.

Ok, thanks.
Name: Tyrael (Teer•eal) (Usually runs under the codename Avatara)
Height: 5'8"
Max Health: 16
Max Mana: 60
Approx. Level: presumed to be 18
(this is currently, may be changed over time)
Description:
Tyrael is like many humans. He is "white" with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Tyrael wields the ancient runeblade Azurewrath. The blade is enchanted with fire, to give it a stronger attack, and is also enchanted to make the bearer have better accuracy.
Tyrael also carries a shield with strange markings on it. The shield is like the one seen on the eagle in many US symbold. The shield is trimmed in a strange blue metal, which can tell the wearer (if he/she is using the shield) if an enemy is nearby (in which the shield glows). One should not rely on this special power though, for it has been known to not work on certain creatures or in certain conditions.
Tyrael also knows a variety of elemental spells (fire, ice, electricity, wind, etc.) that are all offensive. However, all of his spells are offensive, with the exception of a minor healing spell (heals 4 HP per 20 mana) and a mana regeneration spell (triples the regeneration rate).
Tyrael's biggest weakness is his lack of good defense. At his strong level, he only has a defense of 1, and a maximum hit points of 16. Without his shield, he is virtually defenseless, with only a sword to parry (physical, 35% chance of succeeding) or attempt to deflect (magical, about a 15% chance of succeeding) attacks. For this reason, he tries to carry his shield around, but its strong weight prevents him from doing this frequently. In fact, it is rare to see Tyrael with his shield, preferring to rely on his quick speed and offensive skills instead.

Trundaylan (Trun•day•lan)
Height: 5'11"
Max health: 86
Max mana: 20
Approx. Level: 14
Trundaylan is a light tan-skinned human. He is usually seen in the shiny battle armor of the Zakarum priests. The Zakarum are a secret order of paladins who heal people in the land of Cythera, but under a different name than Zakarum.
Trundaylan carries a strong shield and an ancient sword Demonslayer. This sword is not magical, but instead finely crafted to do a decent amount of damage to an enemy. Trundaylan's shield also has the symbol of the Zakarum on it.
The spells Trundaylan knows are mostly healing spells, with an occasional mystic arrow or lightning bolt. The healing spells are very effective, using only 6 mana to heal 48 HP.
Trundaylan's weakness, like all paladins, is his lack of resistance to magic. He is unable to deflect a harmful magical bolt (well, he has a 1% chance if he uses his shield, but if it does, it cracks his shield). For this reason, he tends to avoid confronting evil priests and magicians.

I'm looking forward to seeing yours Talos. Maybe we should have created a different topic... We can always copy and paste, before its too late...

I started a new topic, so please don't put any more information about your character here.
Look under "Character Info" for a place to post and examples (mine being the worst).

Thanks, I don't think many people would have looked here anyway. Feel free to post in the story, as long as it doesn't stray too far. The title is "Once Again..."
