Slayers website was where i went to start with and i followed the instructions carefully and when I learned persuasion and spoke to him (Halos) about 'Comana' his reply is completly blank, It might be something to do with me not being registered but hopefully i can borrow some money from my dad to pay the $25(£15) fee!

Of course you have to talk to Propontis, Halos' brother in Catamarca but you will also need to talk to Propontis' wife Mantinea. Ask her about "Darius".
