He won't talk to me about a house. I have 11,000 oboloi + but Timon is carrying it. Does that matter? I'm anxious to forget about Alaric and decorate.

Hmmm... I think that you need to carry the money, but I'm not sure. Couldn't hurt, though. Also, check the sign at the bottom of the house for sale to make sure you're asking him the right question.
I heard that in one of the earlier versions, buying a house from him didn't work. Make sure you have version 1.0.4. (available from this sight)

I just think it would be nice to have a place of my own to kick off my gator boots, shed the odd helm and eat some homemade bread. (I trained in breadmaking, you know.) Sleeping in inns and eating out all the time gets old.
