Lich are the ones that keep on coming back, right? I don't think there's any way to permenantly get rid of one, but you can get rid of one temporarily. It's still very hard, though.

If you want to be rid of one Lich, make sure you are equipped with an odd helmet and the sword of heroes( if you found them) and that meleager is wearing the gauntlets. then watch them crumple to the floor. there is no long term way to destroy them though.
