I go to Odema.

"Oh, he just left for Catamarca."

Went to catamarca.

"oh, he went to Cadima to visit a friend."

Went to the music guy in Cadima.

"Oh he just left. I think he said something about Kosha."

Went to Kosha. Talked to guy in restaurant.

"Uh, he was just here, I'm not sure if he's still here. If he did leave, I'm never going to tell you where he went, because I'm a moron and don't want you to find out that special tune so you can advance in the game."

Where is he now?

When I do that, I usually find him at Byraxis' house in Cademia.

Hmm - I can't find Demodocus either... I've gone to all the places - Odemia, Catamarca, Cademia, Kosha, I even asked Master Lindus - but he is never there, and he isn't at Bryaxis' either...

I can't even get Byraxis to say more than that he's his best friend. Perhaps I should go attack the guy. Hold on, we'll see if that works.

I always him on the bridge to Cademia. (This is probably to late)

Demodocus usually makes the loop Odemia to Catamarca to Cademia to Kosha to Pnyx back to Odemia and so on. Keep going around the loop and you might be able to catch him in Cademia.
