Some random questions (sewers, alaric's secret place, etc)

Ok, some random questions...
First off.... if you go into the sewer, and travel to the south-western corner, you'll eventually come across a hole in the sewer wall that leads to a little cave with a waterfall and an abyss below. There's a rock outcropping there, just like the one leading down to the Harpy nest. So, I tied a rope on and went down. I was expecting some cool new place that no one has ever discovered before. All I found was a lot of moss that casts "confuse" on you, and a water fountain/spring/whatever. Is there something I'm missing?
And in Landking Hall... Alarics secret quarters (you can get there by blowing up his door/removing mage lock, or using the secret passage), the room with all the burner things that leads out to the void... is there any secret to that place? I've tried some combinations of the burners, but nothing works. What am I missing?
And for the house for sale in Cademia (sp?)... well, I know it's possible to get 10K $$$, I actually think it'd be pretty easy (flax, diamonds), but is there any way to hold it all? I imagine that multiple chests in a chest could hold a lot... but, that way, it'd take well over 40 chests to get that all in.
That's about all I can remember for now...
Thanks for your time.

I wonder about the first two questions also, but to carry more than you can hold is quite easy once you figure it out. I have Hector carrying 35000! Just put a chest into another chest, fill the inner chest with anything, and dump it into the outer chest. Repeat as necessary. You don't really need the outer chest, but it keeps things neat. If this seems confusing (I'm not good at explaining things), visit http://www.macclassi...era/cythera.htm which explains it and gives more helpful tips.

Yup, I finally found the "tricks to making the game easier" part of Slayer's site... looks like I got me a new house, along with enough obsidion (sp?) for a godly amount of upgrades =)

No point to the broken wall place in the sewers. Try hitting the moss.
The point to the burner things is a certain pattern called the path of the lightning bolt. Start with them all off, then light them in this order from 1 to 10.

This is a reference to Jewish Mysticism called Kabalah. It isn't important.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the "7" in there......

"Of course not, don't ask stupid questions"

Ok. Forget my other posts. Pay attencion to this one only.
The following is a diagram of the puzzle. The numbers represent the brazen. Light them in numerical order. Start with all of them extinguished. Begin with 1, end with 10. The dashes represent empty spaces you can walk in.

3 - - - 2
5 - - - 4
- - 6 - -
8 - - - 7
- - 9 - -
- - 10- -
The other posts were messed up because I forgot the bottom lamp.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean so I'll just try several answers.
The picture is an overhead.
Where you are when you light a lamp is not important. You can stand above, below, left, right, etc. As long as you start with lighting the lamp 1 and end with lamp 10.
The top of the diagram is north, the bottom is south.
Does that help?
