This may seem like a really lame problem but everytime I fish I get a "you must cast in deeper water" message. Call me cray but I really want to fish.... Help

Its very simple. You can't.

There is no deep water anywhere. I have searched. I have gone all over the main island. I have looked everywhere there is water. There is no way to fish.
