I believe that everyone of you have noticed the poster in Cademia that says something like: Building for sale. Go to Antenor... Well I talked with Antenor and he said that building costs 10000 oboloi. I collected the money and went back to Antenor, but he said that I don't have the oboloi.

Can anyone explain why he is doing that?

It's not that I really need that building, but it seemed fun to buy one!

I think that the problem has to do with containers(sp?).

Shouldn't that be "The geek shall inherit the earth."

He means that the game might not be able to trace money through the box in a box system. I assume.
Or its that you have to have it all with you and not in the land kings hall somewhere.
My only last explanation is that either you have less than 10 000 oboli (perhaps 1 000), or you read it wrong and it costs 100 000 oboli.

Things can always be placed in a container if that container has room left. Also things from a container can be placed in the container that holds the container it. For example, if you're carrying a chest, you can take things out of the chest and put it in your main inventory, regardless of how full your main inventory is. Combining these rules allows any container, including main inventory, to hold unlimited amounts of stuff.

So you can buy the house! Antenor is to the north of the food market in Cademia.

If you can find someone willing to sell the Kosha castle, you can buy it. I highly doubt that anyone is selling it, though.

I don't think it's actually possible to buy the house. Ambrosia probably didn't think it was necessary to make it possible, as they didn't think any one would really be that anal...

With a little "help" from pandoras box I got the house also. When you pick up the junk in the house you are stealing.

It is quite easy to buy the building for 10,000 by buying-selling flax, but why? It's quite pointless as you can barely do anything in it. All you can do is stick a few chairs, plants and other smallish items (by putting them in crates, moving the crates then breaking the crates open where you want the object). If you were allowed to buy/move furnature (beds, tables, etc)...

Who cares about buying the stinking house? You can't do anything with it!

It is called Roleplaying - I can think of thousands of things to do with/in it. OK, maybe just hundreds.

There is one trick I use. Go to Pynx (sp?) Buy say 1010 sacs. utilize them to 1 put all ye money in each hold 80 Oboli. then go buy all the flax you can, sell it, refill, buy flax sell, till you have all the oboli you need, fill sacs, go to the guy and buy. I have only done this once and did not see any benefit. but hell to each his own.

What gives you the idea that you can buy the kosha house? You can't buy the Cademia or Catamarca castles.
