Help
I'm in the seldane cave and have completed a full exploration, but still can't find the black discs. Can anyone give me some clues?

Black discs? I guess you are referring to the little black things you need to gettothe Seldane leader? If that's the case, I believe they are on the ground near the entrance to the southern-most building in the cave. They're very small so look carefully.

One question I have is what are they used for?? I my copy isn't registered and I wonder if can win w/o doing that

Adolf,
I don't know if you can win without registering, but if you're playing (and enjoying) such a great game you really should register.
The black discs are for opening some stone doors.
