Several ruffians attacked me and I slew them. I took their weapons and effects. I did the same with the ruffians at the house with Ariadne.
Now I've got a lot of weaponry, etc. that I can't use. Can I trade it for money or boots or something?
Also, are clothes (tunics, etc.) useful to us or should we sell/trade them too?
Thanks!

In Cythera, unlike most RPGs, most items cannot be sold. I have yet to find anyone who will buy weapons, armor, clothing, food, or just about anything else. The few exceptions I can think of are flax, rubies, diamonds, and obsidian. There are probably one or two others that I forgot.

There was a rumor about somebody who would buy your extra stuff from you, but I, like Slayer, have yet to find anybody to dell stuff to.
I am wondering if there is any use for cloth. I have learned "weaving" and can make thread from flax, and then cloth from thread, but is there anything I can do with cloth? I would assume that it was put in there for a purpous, but I do not know what.

While it is true that armed companions are a good asset, a companion (and you, for that matter) can wield only one weapon at a time. For example, it would do you exactly NO good to weigh Hector down with four sets of body armor, a bow and arrows, a mace, a long sword, a dagger, etc. You get the point.

So??? thats why you get the $$$$$$ when armor and tools are fully loaded, maybe have one or two sets for them new guys. I mostly hunt ruffians fo the $$ and exsperiance point. I mean hey if ye gonna kill a ruffian why not take the spoils of war??

Who says cloth has to have a reason?
Why should it? Lots of other stuff doesnt.
I mean what's the point of buttered bread, or spoons or forks, or pick axies, or wheel barrows, or buying a house, or many other things.
They're there to make it seem more realistic.
