I haven't yet registered Cythera (I'm doing it by mail, so it'll take awhile), but I am enjoying playing the game.

1. How do I get combat or magical experience?
2. How did Hector get so strong? Will I gain strength with experience?
3. I can't for the life of me find the houses in the woods where Ariadne's supposed to be held.
4. How many companions should I have before leaving LandKing Hall?
5. How do I get more obloi?
6. Is it considered stealing if I take food from the crates in the caverns at LandKing Hall? If so, how do I get enough food for the journey? And where do I sleep?

Thanks very much!

Kill things to get experience points; trade them in at the Magesterium for mana and other magic skills; at Alaric to get basic stats increased; at Hector's dad (can't recall the name) at Landking Hall to get combat skils; other useful skills are found throughout the game.

He's a trained warrior. You aren't (if you selected warrior archetype, that just means you worked out at the gym some). Strength (I believe) can be gained in exchange for experience points at Landking Hall; ask around.

It's between Odemia and Cademia; walk around the path until Hector says, 'Look, a path to the northwest!' or something similar. It's hard to see. Look out for traps once you reach the house.

One.

5. How do I get more obloi?
Kill ruffians and take the cash. Steal. Trade. Discover. That's about it...

I'm not sure; you probably can take. But to get food, ask the cook in Landking Hall about it; she'll give you plenty.

And where do I sleep?
In a bed. Beds can be found in Landking (your room); inns (everywhere); the jail in Cademia (but why?); the student quarters in the Magesterium; and assorted other places.

Read the documenatation that came with Cythera for more basic tips.

6. Anything in the LandKing Hall can be taken without stealing.
Food can always be taken.
There are some animals that can be killed for food. I belive titans and unicorns are two.
