i gave hector an axe, went below cademia to where the golem is, let hector and meleager attack the golem and hector "ground it to dust" the golem died in 2 shots...anyone ever got anything less than a sword of heroes to "grind to dust"?

yes. I ended up with the gauntlets doing that, but if you want to know what else does it, simply ask meleager or hector about an item.

If you think thats good you should notice that 1 out of 3 hits alaric does with shred someone to peices and he doesn't even have a weapon.
Sylp does grazing blows for every attack. He gets 40 attacks to your 1.

He's talking about UrSylph, my pseudo-namesake(it's my signature, not my username). (GAME SPOILERS) If you've registered, use the bonded crolna piece on the standing stone on the coast of the lake type of thing southwest-ish from kosha. Cross the bridge. Find loose dirt. What you do next is a bit obvious, eh? (END GAME SPOILERS)

Slayer's Guide?? I finished the game on my own... sort of.. so maybe I used slayers guide..once..or twice..or..more.. Hey, I didn't use it to figure out how to cure alaric, just how to get the free maayti mission and to solve the honor jinrai mission. That's all. But WHERE IS SABINATE'S SON? He's supposed to be in the mine, but I've looked high and low, especially keeping an eye out for those weird passages like in the land's end volcano or cave north of the LK Hall entrance. I was guessing it was bahoudin(magpie), because he had the half-disc I needed as sabinate's son was supposed to. And I beat the game but still didn't accomplish two objective's..son of sabinate and negotiate wine contract..

Jhiaxis is Sabinate's son. You have to ask him his name. The wine contract mission never ends.
