I just got Timon to join my group but I don't know what spells he has - and do I have to dictate in the AI for him to use it or does he just use them when necessary?

For a complete list of Timon's spells, click on his 'do' menu and select 'cast spell'. He's not very intelligent about his spell use, so if you want him to use spells wisely either you'll have to give him a non-spell using AI and do the job manually, or write a better AI.

He sure is stupid! I kick I lizard out of my way, and he runs after it shooting lightning bolts!
Is there anyway of getting him to learn more magic? For that matter, is there any way to level up or make any of your other party members stronger?

I don't think there's any way to improve the other characters besides giving them better equipment. Just make sure they get the equipment they're designed for, i.e. Gauntlets->Meleager, Sword->Hector, etc. They're already pretty tough, anyway.

Your party members are already becoming stronger, though I've only observed it on Meleager and Hector. When you advance to next experience level, your health becomes a bit larger. The same is happening to Meleager and Hector. For example: at the beginning Hector's health was somwhere about 85/85, but after some fights it becomes larger(125/125). The same is with Meleager.

Hector starts out at 80. Think it then goes to 110 or something. Their levle ups are seprate of your's.

I don't think that Timon can learn new spells. Once I saw him terrorize a ratlizard Posted Image

Timon can't learn any new spells and his health never becomes larger. Only Hector's, Meleager's health becomes larger.

By the way!

Of course I don't know if anybody of you has done it, but you can use the spell Replicate very useful. You need 21 mana power to cast it. So if you have mystic armor or any other good stuff(like the Sword Of Heroes Posted Image) just put it on the ground and cast Replicate on it. I currently have all my party members(except Meleager who has gauntlets) armed with full shields and swords of heroes. They're also wearing fur cloaks, strenght belts, LandKingAmulets. I think that it's pretty cool! Posted Image

What about timon's mana amount, perhaps he can cast more spells in a row.

Unfortunately, in recent versions replicate is much weaker. It's too bad, because I really liked everyone in my party having a Sword of Heroes.

About the editing other characters: you can download an application called Pandora's Box from www.macdownload.com. The way to use it is simply stated in the ReadMe, or go to Slayer's Guide to Cythera. Hint: change the BODY by putting the strength belt on them. You can also get ACE, but not from macdownload.

P.S. I looked up Cythera in a dictionary to see if it had any educational value... *grin* ... and came up with Cytheria, who is the goddess of beauty, or just meaning beautiful. Neat, eh? Says so much for the game...

....Lusankya, Cytheria is another name for Aphrodite or Venus, these are the more common names for the goddes of beuty. Cythera, is where the gods found her. She was the only one on the island at the time and therefor was known as Cytheria and not a Cytherian.
