I stopped using fetch after I lost the sword of heroes. I didn't save, so I managed to get it later, but the point is Fetch is not an all purpose miracle.
You're a dead goose without registering. I'd like to see you with enough power to take on 4 demons with a fetch spell. Or better yet, two scytlla.

Ah! Timon! You're dead!
No I'm not.
Yes you are! Just look!
Oh! So I am!

Its a ludicrous amount.
If I ever get a house/building (which I probably won't) I'm going to plaint the town red (with blood), and use corpses for a carpet. Note: the dead titan and unicorn go in the largest and medium sized rooms respectively.
I mean, why buy a house? Why not just takae over Land kings hall?

Is there any way to get one of those green moose heads to mount on a wall?

Basically. There was a chance (say 1 in 80) that the crystal ball (found in Alaric's room) would do something very wrong. This ranged from messing up the dialogue, teleporting you from inside to outside of a city, and completely and permanently destroying all things interactable in a city (at least, this only happened to me in cities). This means that levers, doors, window, secreetwalls, lamps, gates, stairs, traps, variations in tile sprites (cobwebs, shadows, broken walls, etc.) all disapear. The list is a lot larger than this, but luckily the people remain. Not that that really matters.
I related its effective way of making everything disapear to fetch's.

Life is a mind altering substance. It should be considered a drug and taken off the market. Any remaining life should be confiscated.
Note:
1 Life causes your brain to function and muscles to build. It therefore should be condsidered a steroid as well.
2 Once used, you cannot stop using life until you die. It is the most addictive drug out there (excepting pokemon).

But if you use fetch on Cademia, It will disappear along with the people.
Sorry I don't have a whole lot to say on the subject, but I assume I will soon.

On the subject of houses: There is an unfilled teacher's quarters at Pnyx. Humm
Yeah, and some student quarters upstairs.
Is there a bed in the teacher's quarters?
Also, in Cademia, the people who sell food in the Commons live just to the south. They don't usually kick me out of their beds...
Finally, who do you talk to to buy a house? I have a lot of money...
Surprising what you can do with an older version of the game. Move that money, then take it, and NO ONE cares...
Peace!

And no, there is not a bed in the empty professors quarters.

My guesses are Tavara or one of the Mages in some old text, or that the room is not quarters at all, but just the product of finding out that there is extra space in the building.
