Ambrosia Software Web Board: Big black area in Cademia - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Has everyone else gotten into the large blacked out area in Cademia? The one a little east of the Two-Tailed(Taled) Rat? There don't seem to be any secret openings.
Could it be related to the tube and wire in the sewer? It seems like it would be over that end of the sewer. Has anyone figured out the tube and wire?

Very observant, Kate. Try talking to the musician in the north of Cademia. Maybe that will put you on the right track....

You're definitely on the right track. Some doors need a special instrument to open however....

In order to get to the "big blacked out area", I had to go into the sewer by taking the secret passage from the Guild, then turn right and go to the end of the sewer in this direction.When you get to the end use "detect secrets" and it should say that a fine line is detected,examine the walls and when you find the secret passage.Use "fetch" on it and take the stairwell.It will take you to the area you are looking for and kill the golem.search the skeleton and you should find a cloak of herakles.

Of course fetch is not the intended way of opening that door. Try playing a tune on your lyre in the sewers. For a complete spoiler, check out the description of how to get the fur cloak on my unique items page.

I have made it inside the 'Black Area' once.
My report is that there are no people in it, no further walls inside, and I cannot tell if there were any items, levers, stairs, etc. because my method of getting in eliminated any of those. I have done several crystal ball searches, and there seems to be nothing in there normally.
