Prusa's Book

Prusa and I had quite a long talk but she still has her book. She did mention a white flag or feather. Do I need these in my possession in order to get the book?
If so, does anyone have a gentle hint?

Thanks,

Kate

First of all, make sure you have the lastest version. It's a bit easier to get the book in the last updated version. (Or so they say.) You don't have to get anything for her, just listen to her...a LOT. I just kept going back to her and letting her talk and talk and talk. Eventually she gave me the book. It isn't easy.

I bet if you shook her somehow she'd drop the book.....

Persistancy is the best policy. Keep trying. (I don't know why I got it on my first try, but I did! Posted Image)

Even though she gives you the book, she doesn't actually carry it. Just talk to her a lot, then come back later and talk to her a lot, then come back...

It WILL work after a few times of coming back.

The message she gives before giving you the book is "Oil and wine do not readily mix, unless bonded." I go back to her now that I've beaten the game several times, and look at how her nonsense makes sense.

...and for some reason I got her to give me the book loads more easily when I played in the earlier versions; whereas in the latest version I had to go and talk to her about a hundred times. I nearly just killed her and had done with it. I also tried healing her insanity but can tell anybody else not to bother - she was still mad as a goose after several attempts

I think that the time of day is a trigger for what things she says.

I'm not to sure, I think around late evening, after sunset, just before nighttime. I've always seemed to have luck with it then. I'll try it again tonight and try to give an hourly estimate...

She seems to need to spend a long time before she is comfortable enought to offer the book. I think at least 6 seperate days!
