Night Vision Spell

Well, I just started playing Cythera again after all those updates came out, but when I tried using the Vision of the Night spell (or whatever), it seems to have sealed me in an inescapable loop of crashes and freezes. The first time, I wandered around with it on, then crashed with a type 3 error. The next time, I tried sleeping to see if I could wear it off, but then I got stuck in a black screen. Any ideas what's causing it?

What version of Cythera do you have? If it isn't 1.0.4, then you should take it up with David Dunham and send him a copy of your game file if you can.
