Hall of the Dead

When Alaric gives you the amulet at the beginning of the game, he tells you that it will keep you from being permanently killed if you are wearing it. He also says that the amulet can be used to bring back people from the hall of the dead, or something like that. Does anyone know where this hall of the dead is?

Well, I sort of meant is it an actual place you can go to in Cythera (like if there was somebody you wanted to use the amulet on). I didn't intend to start a theological discussion.

I tried using it on the dead guy in the lower hidden passage beneath the land king hall. Didn't do a whole lot of good...

Does he really say "hall of dead"? (Now I want to start another game to check.) I just thought he said you can use it to bring back dead members of your party. Hmmm...

i tryed the amulet on him and it said pipe has been brought back from the brink of death. who is pipe? where is he now (he disapered when i used the amulet on him)?
