I began to tell my friends about the time I found my sword and my ruby ring in a tomb when Slayer interrupted, making a suggestion: That we attack by sunset.
Everyone agreed, except Fanatic. "I have a better idea," he said, "we attack after dark. I will cast a daylight spell in a way that only we can see it".
"That is impossible!" Slayer replied. We approached the Southland Vineyard and Fanatic lead us into a dark storage room. I heard a noise and saw a blue and purple light. Then...nothing. "Do you see the light, Slayer?" Fanatic asked. "Yes...so what?" Slayer replied. Fanatic then asked, "Avatara? Rogan? Eldargon? Kestrel? Can you
see any light?". We could not see anything, so we answered "no" almost together. "If you don’t believe me," Fanatic said to Slayer, "cast your lie-detecting spell on them
and see for yourself." Fanatic smiled as Slayer said "no, I believe you." We departed the vineyard and continued on our journey.
Everything was dark. We approached the swamp and I drew my sword. We fought our way through gators and serpents, and were bitten several times. We cast healing on
each other as we closed in on the waterfall. We went in, led by Slayer. The air was damp and it smelled horrible and the hidden caverns seemed to extend forever.
Fanatic casted his spell and everything suddenly went from dark to bright as the day. We looked around and I suddenly spotted a demon in the far distance.
I pointed at the dreadful being with its horns and evil eyes and said: "A demon. Or what?" The demon turned towards our direction and started to walk. "Can demons see in the dark?" I asked, significantly worried. "I don’t want to wait and find out," Kestrel said as he leaped forward and drew his sword, blue flames bursted out into the air. The demon was taken by complete surprise. He screamed, and tried to hit Kestrel...and that was all he managed to do before he died.
I lifted my sword and ran towards Kestrel, followed by the others. "Whoops," Kestrel said with embarrassment, "hope no one heard that". He looked around and said: "Let us proceed". He started to walk with the others close behind. We walked for almost an eternity, I think, without encountering any form of resistance. Apparently the Undine were quite arrogant. Suddenly, a rocky cave floor replaced the mud we were walking in. What we eyed when we turned the last curve to the floor astonished...or rather scared us. A large wall with a huge gate in the middle and archer towers, probably thirty feet tall was in front of us. Kestrel turned towards us, and accidentally pushed a rock. It started to tumble across the floor and the echo was loud. We could hear voices from inside the stronghold. Fanatic gasped. "What?" Kestrel hissed. "They have altered my spell in some way," Fanatic horrifyingly replied. "Oh no, we’re in for a battle of a lifetime!" I thought as the gate slowly opened...
An army of skeletons, liches and undead were standing in front of us. Their leader was something straight from hell, with a black cloak and a shrouded face.
"GO BACK FOOLISH MORTALS, YOU CANNOT TOUCH US HERE!" the leader shouted and with that, the army began a slow approach...
Avatara jumped up in front of Kestrel, muttering something I could not hear. He raised his hands and brought them down. Bright lightning bolts came out of his hands, killing
the front row of attackers. I looked impressed at Avatara as a head of a demon landed behind me, almost hitting Slayer. No time for standing around, I thought, and got up
beside Avatara. I took a dagger from my belt and threw it in the head of the closest undead. He died. I then concentrated my thoughts on casting a fireball on the attackers
and I succeeded. I flung the fireball at the attackers, aiming at the leader. Flames were everywhere and the air got extraordinarily hot. At my command, everyone unleashed
their mightiest spells and a few seconds later only four demons and the leader were left. "Help me out!" Kestrel yelled as he lifted his sword and ran towards the cloaked
figure. Avatara and I quickly disposed of the four demons while Kestrel fought the leader. I turned back and could only watch while a dagger hit Kestrel in the leg. I glanced at
the archer towers, and there were archers and knife-throwers manning them. Another sound distracted me. The sound of two wooden gates swinging shut.
Fanatic suddenly ran away and an explosion was heard. A few seconds later, another explosion. A figure leaps out of the shadows, towards Slayer. Slayer took his
dagger and stabbed the figure in the chest. Everything got dark...Slayer casted his own embrightment spell and everything got bright as the day again. Kestrel paused the battle when his opponent suddenly vanished. He looked around for a few seconds, then turned to Slayer. I casted my lightnings and fireballs at the archer towers, draining my mana. When the towers were silent I turned to Slayer and discovered that Fanatic was dead. Slayer had stabbed him because he thought Fanatic was a demon. I looked around and asked: "What happened?" Slayer replied confused: "I thought he was a demon!" I said I was too weak to help him and looked nervously around again, only to discover that the cloaked figure was back. He raised his hand, and Avatara was suddenly thrown against the wall. He passed out.

Another quality story by Rogan. It's nice man!

And so the problem remained; lots of people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches. Many were increasingly of the opinion that they had all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that the trees had been a bad move and that no one should ever have left the oceans. - Douglass Adams

ATTENTION--I will not be posting the rest of Fanatics account of the undine stronghold until Rogan is done posting his story.
