hey folks
i haven't played ares in ages and i'm trying to use a plugin. yes i know this has been asked a billion times, i've already done a search. I'm suppose to drop the file over the app but that won't work. i'm suppose to be using ares 1.2 beta but i can't find the beta version any where on ambrosia's site or else where. the version i'm using is 1.2 but it still wont work and i've tried several plugs.
can anyone help me please?

Umm... I've never had this problem before. Maybe you are loading net senarios, and not single player ones.

Hmmm, are you sure that you are dragging the plug in file to Ares correctly?
You actually drag it "to" the Ares application without releasing it, the application then launches itself at the file.
The effect is rather like double clicking and holding on a folder in the Finder so that the mouse changes to a magnifying glass and allows you to delve into the folder and it's sub folders.
