Ares scenario problemo

Ok, so when ever I try and load a scenario file (drag and drop over Ares application (v1.2.0) Ares launches and then sits at a blank screen unitll I kill the power.

Help.

This sounds like a serious glitch. I suggest you contact Ambrosia; perhaps at the [url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Help+on+the+way&number=2"]Technical Support Forum[/url], and explain the problem. Don't forget to include your computer details; model, operating system version, etc.

It sounds like you are suffering from the "black screen of death," as called by Ragashingo. Are you running OS X?

Yes if you are running Ares in OS X I suggest you swithch to the Finder before launching Ares...

If not... Then follow Sundered Angel's advice.
