Ambrosia Software Web Board: Ares - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Well it's been a while since i've been on gameranger to play a game of ares now, but I have noticed that there is really nobody on GR anymore. I went on today (thursday) and there was only 86 people on gameranger. I was surprised at the small amount of people on GR. Has anybody actually played a game of ares recently on GR?

I never go on gameranger anymore. Don't feel like running two chat apps at once(since I am usually logged into MaGChat when I am logged in to the comp ) If someone wants to play me in MaG they're welcome to come and challenge me

I dabbled with GR a few years ago, just after Ares came out.

Having returned to it recently (I'm logged onto it now...) I realize why I abandoned it previously. There's no one there!
I get the occasional game, usually vs newbies, but it is hardly worth the effort.

Is it?

It was better back when you could get an opponent a minute or two after hosting.
